Size matter

Today we completed the ‘size matter’ task with 5G.

To complete this task, you need to measure the diameter of the planet you are doing and its distance from the sun, and divide it by 10 or 100.

I did Mars with Emma, Suzie, Fiona and Olivia. The size of Mars is 1.5cm ( not to scale ), the real diameter was 6,780 km. Then we went outside and used the oval as the solar system. The distance from Mars to the sun is 6m (1m on the oval equals 46,000,000km).
